    Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain (10th end)

This is what Bruce Mouat is facing with the final stone of the match. Anything in the middle or a shot that removes either of the reds will do.

    Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain

Niklas Edin doesn't look too pleased with his penultimate stone. Mouat should just be able to bash this away for GB.

    Great Britain are almost there.

    Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain (10th end)

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

It's tense as Sweden try to plot their way to a steal of two to force an extra end.

There are only two stones in the house just now and GB are lying shot. They just need to make sure red stones get knocked out of there.

    Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain (10th end)

Great Britain are being really careful here. They just have to ensure they don't concede two (or even a dreaded three) in this end and they'll be fine.

Can world champs Sweden pull something out of the woolly hat?

British skip Bruce Mouat will have the final throw.

    Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain (10th end)

    Well, well...

Let's get straight to that final end in the curling then. You can watch it by clicking the thumbnail above.

A reminder Sweden were top of the round robin standings before this match. Great Britain were second.

Men's curling - Sweden 5-7 Great Britain (after nine ends)

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

Hang on, the Swedes are not world champions for nothing.

Niklas Edin and co get two on the board in the penultimate end, and we go into the last.

A lead of two with the hammer for GB, though. They should see it through.

  7. 'A clean sweep for the Germans'published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Two-man bobsleigh

    John Hunt
    Sliding commentator on BBC TV

He says Michael Schumacher is his hero, Schumacher of course completely dominant in his era. The gold medal goes to Friedrich and of course it does.

For the first time in the history of this event it is a clean sweep for the Germans and Francesco Friedrich remains untouchable, unstoppable and has that golden glow once again.

  8. gold-medal

Gold medal - Germanypublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Men's two-man bobsleigh

It's gold for pilot Francesco Friedrich and Torsten Margis! He'd have had enough time to make a cuppa before the finish line.

That also means Germany win gold, silver and bronze. Remarkable.

  9. Lochner goes fastest for Germanypublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Men's two-man bobsleigh

Pilot Johannes Lochner steers his bobsleigh into the lead by a massive margin of 1.2 seconds.

It still might not be enough for gold.

Here's Francesco Friedrich, the defending champion. He already has one hand on gold.

  10. Germany going for clean sweeppublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Men's two-man bobsleigh

Here is Christoph Hafer, the first of those three Germans...

It's a near perfect run. He goes fastest and guarantees at least a bronze for Germany.

Could they get a one, two, three? Lochner and Bauer go next, followed by Friedrich and Sommer.

  11. Medal fight under way in two-man bobpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Two-man bob

The medal fight is on in the men's two-man bobsleigh.

The three German bobs are in the top three positions - they will be the last three to go.

Michael Vogt of Switzerland currently leads.

  12. Valieva leads after short programmepublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Figure skating women's short programme

The final skater, Japan's Kaori Sakamoto, has been awarded a score of 79.84 by the judges.

All of that means amid all of the controversy of the last few days, 15-year-old Russian Kamila Valieva, who has been allowed to compete despite a positive drugs test, will go into the free skate on Thursday in the gold medal position.

Great Britain's Natasha McKay finished 28th and will not skate again in the competition.

  13. Great Britain closing in...published at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Men's curling - Sweden 3-7 Great Britain

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

Boom, is that the winning shot from Bruce Mouat?

Niklas Edin rolls in a draw, but the GB skip uses his stone to knock one of his yellows into the Swedish rock and remove it from the house.

Two for GB and a 7-3 lead with two ends left. They'll also have the hammer in the last. What a position to be in.

  14. Watch: Emotional Valieva competes after failed drugs testpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Figure skating women's short programme

There were so many emotions watching this...

  15. Italy still lead USApublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Men's curling

We are into the eighth end in the other three round robin matches, with Italy leading defending champions the USA 6-4.

China have opened up a 7-4 lead against Norway, while Canada trail the Russian Olympic Committee 4-3.

  16. Valieva still leadspublished at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Figure skating women's short programme

There are two skaters to go and Kamila Valieva still leads the women's short programme.

Her Russian Olympic Committee team-mate Alexandra Trusova has gone into second but her score of 74.60 is still well adrift of Valieva's 82.16.

  17. 'Confidence building'published at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Two-man bobsleigh

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

That was a really really good run, and was what Brad and Nick needed to put away those demons but he needs to sort that line out going into the four-man because that won't help him.

The good thing is this time when we see the sled leaving the ground again he kept it away from the wall. So, a little bit of confidence building ready for the four-man in a few days.

  18. curling

Great Britain lead Sweden in curlingpublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

Men's curling - Sweden 3-5 Great Britain (after seven ends)

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland in Beijing

Another nail-biter. Bruce Mouat's double takeout didn't quite come off, which allowed Niklas Edin to draw in to sit two.

Mouat was left with a draw to the button for one, which he makes. Phew.

In the next, it ends up being Edin's turn to slide a stone in for one.

    Nobody's giving an inch.

  19. British bob completes fourth runpublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Two-man bobsleigh

Away from the ice rink Great Britain's Brad Hall has just piloted his two-man bob through the fourth run.

When he crashed earlier that was by no means certain.

They finished cleanly this time but will not be threatening the medals.

  20. Postpublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2022

    Figure skating women's short programme

With that score Kamila Valieva has qualified for the free skate, as we all expected.

As a result an additional 25th skater will now go through to the free skate, in case there are any developments in the Valieva story which mean her score is later removed.
