British MMA fighter Molly McCann beat Julia Scardone via armbar in her pro grappling debut at Polaris 26 in Southampton.
The UFC star, 33, made short work of her fellow Briton Scardone and was visibly emotional after the win.
Liverpool's McCann has lost her past two fights in the UFC, last winning in July 2022.
"I'm being a bit emotional but it's hard to take on the chin every day and silence [my critics]," McCann said.
"I've just come here at the mercy of everyone online to do something I'm not that great at, or people think I'm not that great at. But here we are, I've got a win."
"I've been rinsed alive because of my last two fights in the UFC," she added.
McCann is expected to make a return to the UFC early next year after successive submission defeats by Erin Blanchfield and Julija Stoliarenko at flyweight.
She is expected to drop down to strawweight and said this week she had signed the contract for her next fight in the UFC.
