Defeat against Jacqueline Amorim is just Cory McKenna's second in the UFC
Welsh strawweight Cory McKenna lost to Brazilian Jacqueline Amorim by submission in the first round of their bout at UFC Fight Night 239.
Amorim, 28, locked in an early armbar which eventually secured her the fourth-fastest submission victory in UFC strawweight history.
McKenna, 24, had said ahead of the fight she was prepared to grapple against the submission specialist, but was soon overwhelmed by Amorim.
McKenna is now 8-3 as a professional.
Amorim meanwhile moves to 8-1, and the nature of her win should give the Brazilian a future fight to move into the UFC's strawweight top-15 rankings.
