Manx sidecar star Dave Molyneux has claimed his 17th TT win and his third with passenger Patrick Farrance.

The DMR Kawasaki duo finished 43.9 seconds ahead of Saturday's winners Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott from Bradford.

Molyneux said: "It's brilliant. Twenty five years since my first win and it feels just as good."

Lancashire's John Holden and Andrew Winkle, who led for much of the race, completed the podium positions.

Molyneux, 50, said: "I'm really happy. The team have been brilliant all week and Patrick was brilliant as usual."

Farrance added: "It is the best feeling ever - I am so happy."

Their best lap on the Kawasaki powered machine, engineered by Molyneux himself, was 113.7 mph on the final circuit.

Second placed Harrison said: "Dave is the master. He'd won TTs before I had even started racing. It was a cracking race."

Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze finished fourth with Karl Bennett and Lee Cain fifth and Alan Founds and Tom Peters completing the top six.
