Darren Warwick celebrates his title won in St Peter Port

Guernsey-based driver Darren Warwick has won his home leg of the British Hillclimb Championships.

Warwick took the victory after England's Scott Moran crashed out on the second of his two runs.

Moran had become the fastest driver ever up St Peter Port's Val des Terres when he posted 26.99 in his first run.

"People know what the car's capable of and in this company it's a fair achievement, so I'm really happy," Warwick told BBC Radio Guernsey.
