Bath-based Formula 3 driver Callum Voisin said it will be "special" to drive at Silverstone this weekend.
The 19-year-old was born in Switzerland but has been living in Bath for the past eight years while he was attending school.
Voisin is in his second season racing for the Rodin Motorsport team and will be competing in the Formula 3 event taking place this weekend at the same time as F1's British Grand Prix.
"[Silverstone] is a pretty special one for me, it's one that I've driven a lot over the past couple of years, it was one of the first ever circuits that I actually drove at," Voisin told BBC Radio Somerset.
"It's a circuit that everyone wants to win at, it's very historic and for me the grand prix that I get to call home. It's very special, high speed - I always enjoy driving there."

Voisin began his driving career karting on circuits such as Clay Pigeon Raceway in Somerset.
He won the GB3 Championship in 2023 and moved up to Formula 3 with Rodin last season, whose alumni include current F1 drivers Lando Norris, George Russell, Carlos Sainz and Liam Lawson.
Voisin won his maiden race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in July last year on his way to finishing 12th overall in the standings.
He goes into the Silverstone race on Saturday in ninth place, external after the first six races this season.
"It all fell into place relatively late, I wasn't expecting to be doing F3," Voisin said.
"The team went under some new management, which ended up being the right time for me and the team.
"My first year in F3 was a learning year for me and we ended up getting some good results by the end of it and then went for another year to have a proper go at it."
Later this month Voisin will be switching to Formula E to take part in a test event for the Cupra Kiro team - his first time driving an electric car.
Racing in F1 remains the ultimate goal however.
"My goal is still to reach F1 and be a world champion one day," Voisin added.
"I'm aware that Formula 1 is difficult to get in, so are all the other forms of motorsport. As long as I do the best job possible I can, who knows where I can end up."
