Dates announced for 2026 North West 200 road race

A massed start at the North West 200 is a spectacular sight for race fans

The 2026 North West 200 international road race is to take place from 6-9 May, the organisers have confirmed.
The on-track action will begin with qualifying sessions on Wednesday 6 May between 09:00 BST and 15:00, with a similar qualifying schedule subject to the same road closure times on Thursday, 7 May.
Racing will commence on Thursday evening, with roads closing at 16:45 until 21:00 with three four-lap races taking place for the Superstock, Superbike and Supersport machines.
The action will resume on Saturday, 9 May, with roads closing between 09:00 and 21:00.
The six race programme will include two Superbike races, two Supertwin events and Supersport and Superstock outings.
Davey Todd and Michael Dunlop secured hat-tricks at the 2025 meeting, with Richard Cooper claiming two wins and Paul Jordan one.
