Cummins to make Mountain Course return in Manx GP

Manxman Conor Cummins is set to make a return to racing on the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course at the 2024 Manx Grand Prix.
The 38-year-old will compete in the Classic Senior race at the event on a 500cc Honda.
The Ramsey Rocket has not raced around the 37.73-mile (60km) course since withdrawing from this year’s TT part-way through the event after splitting with long-term team Padgetts.
Cummins returned to road racing last month, competing for FHO Racing in the Armoy road races where he secured two eighth-place finishes.
While the racer has never taken part in the races run under the banner of the Manx Grand Prix, he was a contender in the now defunct Classic TT races.
Held during the same August event between 2013 and 2019, Cummins secured two podium finishes.
The Manx Grand Prix runs from 18 to 26 August, with the Classic Senior race scheduled to take place on 24 August.
