King's Lynn Stars have signed three-time British champion Chris Harris for the 2025 speedway campaign.
The 41-year-old is one of the sport's most experienced riders and made a number of stand-in appearances for the Stars last season.
They have also signed Australian Ben Cook from Premiership champions Belle Vue and Richard Lawson is returning to the team following two years with Leicester.
"The thought of having Chris Harris at reserve and potentially taking seven rides will frighten the life out of most teams," said a club statement.
"We’ve got a very well-balanced team, and a team that knows how to win things as well. It’s been hard work, but we knew we needed a major overhaul and also a team that will be entertaining."
King's Lynn finished sixth of the seven teams in last season's Premiership and have not won a trophy since 2009.
They did reach the Knockout Cup semi-finals in 2024, but lost 94-86 over two legs to eventual winners Sheffield Tigers.
The rest of their roster for the new season will be made up of returning captain Nicolai Klindt, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Jan Kvech and rising star Ashton Boughen.
The Stars did open negotiations with World Championship runner-up Robert Lambert but were unable to conclude a deal.
"Unfortunately his commitments don’t allow for a full British season at the moment," the club said.
“We fully understand that. He was world number this year, he wants to be world champion, and we completely support him in that."
