Australian Josh Brookes to race in North West 200

Josh Brookes will compete on the Triangle circuit in 2012

Australian Josh Brookes is set to make his North West 200 debut next year.

The TAS Relentless Suzuki rider competes in the British Superbike Championship and finished second in the 2010 series.

Brookes, who was a spectator at the NW200 earlier this month, also plans to race in the Isle of Man TT.

"I've made my mind up so don't try and talk me out of it - next year I'm doing the NW200 and the TT," Brookes said on Twitter.
