Holders Tyrone's group opposition in the McKenna Cup in January will include last season's beaten finalists Derry.

Antrim, with new manager Frank Dawson at the helm, and Jordanstown will also be in Group C of the competition after Thursday night's draw.

All-Ireland champions Donegal will take on Fermanagh, Monaghan and St Mary's in Group A.

Group B will see Armagh, Cavan, Down and Queen's in action in the secondary provincial competition.

The Ulster Under-21 draw was also made on Thursday evening.

Fermanagh will face Armagh in the preliminary round with the winners going on to face Down.

The other first-round games see Tyrone facing Donegal, Antrim up against Derry and Cavan tackling Monaghan.

Group A: St Mary's, Fermanagh, Donegal, Monaghan

Group B: Queen's, Armagh, Cavan, Down

Group C: Jordanstown, Tyrone, Derry, Antrim

Preliminary round: Fermanagh v Armagh

First round: Tyrone v Donegal; Antrim v Derry; Cavan v Monaghan; Down v Fermanagh or Armagh
