William Dunlop will compete at the Cookstown 100 meeting on 27 April.

Dunlop, who is racing for Shaun Muir's Yamaha team in this season's British Supersport Championship, will ride a factory-prepared Yamaha at Cookstown.

The Ballymoney man also plans to ride another Milwaukee Yamaha bike at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.

Dunlop will compete on a R6 Yamaha in Cookstown before moving up to an R1 for the international road race events.

"It would have been nice to have been able to bring my Milwaukee Yamaha R1 Superbike to the event, but I love working with Chris Dowd and CD Racing and I think this special wee R6 will be good enough for the job around Cookstown," said Dunlop.

"I'm maybe not that great around Cookstown, but if I ride it to its full potential, it's certainly good enough to run at the front in the open races."

Dunlop will also compete in the Moto3/125cc class at Cookstown on his Delaney Honda.
