Michael Dunlop will compete on his Honda TT Legends Fireblade bike at the Ulster Grand Prix in August.

The Ballymoney man won the opening Superbike race at this month's Isle of Man TT on the Legends machine.

Dunlop, who won four races at this year's TT, was originally contracted to race on the Honda at just the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT.

"It rode lovely at the TT and we got a win there so it would be good to do the same at the Ulster," said Dunlop.

Dunlop will give his home fans a special treat when he brings the factory prepared bike to the fast flowing sweeps of the 7.4 mile Dundrod circuit on 12-17 August.

"We've done a lot of work on the bike during the NW 200 and the TT and we're in a good position now," added the 24-year-old.

Dunlop dominated at Dundrod last year, taking a double in the Superstock and Superbike races.

Senior TT winner John McGuinnes will not compete at the Ulster GP because it clashes with a round of the Endurance World Championship.
