Ryan Farquhar and Keith Amor to race at Tandragee 100

Ryan Farquhar and Keith Amor are to make a return to an Irish national road race when they compete in the Tandragee 100 meeting on 2 and 3 May.

Farquhar will take part in the Supertwins race on his ER6 Kawasaki, and will also campaign a Moto450 bike and a 500cc Paton in the classic race.

Amor will join his KMR Kawasaki team-mate on a 650 for the Supertwins race and run his own 600cc machine.

Both riders will return to the Isle of Man TT in June after retiring.

The pair announced their intention to return to the saddle in December and will compete in the Lightweight TT in June, with Amor also racing in the Supersport 600cc events.

Farquhar confirmed that he will make a limited return to racing this season after announcing in September 2012 that he was quitting the sport.

The Dungannon man called time on his road racing career after the death of his uncle, Trevor Ferguson, at the 2012 Manx Grand Prix.

Falkirk man Amor hung up his leathers in January 2012 after suffering a serious shoulder injury at the TT.

Farquhar secured a hat-trick of victories on his last appearance at the Tandragee 100 meeting in 2012 and a victory this time round would see him reach the significant milestone of 200 successes on Irish roads.

The 38-year-old has 12 wins to his name over the Tandragee course, while Amor will be making his first visit to the circuit since 2009.
