St Patrick's Dungannon beat Abbey CBS by 1-12 to 0-11 in Thursday night's MacRory Cup quarter-final replay.
A goal from Michael Lynn just after half-time was the crucial score in a closely contested match in Inniskeen.
Ryan Treanor scored nine points for the Abbey in a fine individual display but his team stuggled in front of goal and also hit ten wides over the hour.
Tiarnan Donnelly, Ruairi McGlone and Che O'Donnell were among the scorers for St Pat's who make the semi-finals.
Treanor scored five points in the first half as the Abbey led by 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time.
St Patrick's had the wind in the second half and they made an instant impact with McGlone's run and pass setting up Lynn for a powerful strike to Abbey's net.
The goal gave St Pat's a cushion they never surrendered, with the Abbey not able to close the deficit in the second half.
The winners join St Patrick's Cavan in the semi-finals, and there are two outstanding quarter-final ties to be played over the weekend.
MacRory and Hogan Cup champions St Pat's Maghera play St Macartans on Friday while St Colman's face Omagh CBS in Clones on Saturday.
