Tyco BMW team-mates William Dunlop and Guy Martin will get their road racing season under way at the Cookstown 100 on 25 April.

Dunlop narrowly missed out on winning the Superbike event at last year's County Tyrone meeting when Dan Kneen won from the second group.

"I lost it on corrected time, so it is a great incentive to go back to Cookstown," said Dunlop.

"I will be doing my best to try to notch up my first win for the team."

Dunlop is riding for Tyco in Superbike and Supertsock races in 2015, but will be on Yamaha machinery in the Supersport class at the international and national road races.

He has been paired with Lincolnshire truck mechanic and television personality Martin by the Moneymore-based TAS team, run by Hector and Philip Neill.

The riders recently tested their BMW bikes in Spain and road racing fans will be keen to see how they perform at the first Irish national meting of the year.

Martin said: "Cookstown will be a good way to roll out the big BMW for the first time.

"The meeting is always a great way to blow off the winter cobwebs."
