Josh Elliott clinches British Superstock 1000cc title

Fermanagh rider Josh Elliott has won the British Superstock 1000cc title after finishing second in Sunday's race at Silverstone.
Elliott was crowned champion after his closest challenger Alastair Seeley came in sixth on the English circuit.
Carrickfergus man Glenn Irwin won the second Supersport race after finishing third in the Sprint race.
Michael Laverty was sixth in the Superbike opener but was on the podium after a second place in race two.
The Tyco BMW rider from Toomebridge is fourth in series ahead of the final round at Brands Hatch.
Irwin lies third in the Supersport standings while Hudson Kennaugh edged out Elliott, on board his Morello Kawasaki, by 0.06 seconds in Superstock event.
Elliott has an unassailable 27-point lead over Carrickfergus rider Seeley, who challenged for the lead before running wide and dropping down the field.
