Great Britain's badminton campaign at London 2012 is over after Rajiv Ouseph and Susan Egelstaff were both knocked out of the singles competitions.

World number 25 Ouseph was beaten 12-21 21-17 21-19 by Guatemala's Kevin Cordon, ranked 13 places below him.

Egelstaff lost 18-21 21-16 21-12 to Japanese 12th seed Sayaka Sato.

Ouseph, 25, said he "made some silly choices" during his match, while Egelstaff, 29, added that she felt like she "gave it everything".

Chris Adcock and Imogen Bankier, already out of the mixed doubles, lost their third and final group match at Wembley Arena, beaten 21-13 21-14 by China's top seeds Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei.

No Britons made it to the knockout stages of the Olympic tournament.
