Olympics Kayak K1: Britain's Lizzie Neave out in semi-finals
- Published
British slalom canoeist Lizzie Neave has been knocked out of kayak K1 semi-finals after a disappointing run.
The 25-year-old could only manage the 12th-fastest time with the top 10 reaching Thursday afternoon's final.
The former world and European champion recorded the second fastest time overall at Lee Valley White Water Centre in the heats.
But the Brit appeared nervous at the start and picked up six penalty points to take her out of contention.
