Rio Olympics 2016: Gabriella Szabo & Danuta Kozak win kayak double 500m gold

Gabriella Szabo and Danuta Kozak of Hungary held off a late charge from Germany's Franziska Weber and Tina Dietze to take Olympic gold in the women's kayak double 500m.

The Hungarians crossed the line in one minute 43.687 seconds, just 0.051secs clear of the Germans.

Poland's team of Karolina Naja and Beata Mikolajczyk took bronze.

Weber and Dietze were the defending champions in the event from London 2012.
