Guernsey rower Erica Bodman hopes to impress the Great Britain selectors at this weekend's national trials.
Bodman is one of 14 female scullers hoping to gain a place in the main British squad for the summer.
The former Cambridge University rower hopes to make Sunday's single sculls final with a good performance.
"I'm not in a position where I can lose a seat if I row badly, I've just got an opportunity to show what I can do and hopefully impress them," she said.
