Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed hooker Andy Ellis from Harlequins on a three-year deal.
Ellis will join the Yorkshire club for the start of next year.
The 26-year-old said: "I can't wait to begin training and start this new challenge. I'm confident Wakefield are a team that will go far next year."
Ellis, who was named Championship Man of Steel in 2009, played for Hull KR and Barrow Raiders before moving to the capital to play for Harlequins.
Wakefield chief executive James Elston added: "Andy is a great signing for us. His experience in the hooking role will be an asset to the side next year and his ability to cross over the line will be a further boost."
