Wigan 98-4 North Wales Crusaders

Sam Tomkins ran in six of Wigan's 18 tries as the Challenge Cup holders hammered North Wales Crusaders.

Liam Farrell claimed a hat-trick, while wingers Josh Charnley and Ryan King, on his debut, bagged a brace apiece.

Charnley also kicked 13 goals for a 34-point haul at the DW Stadium, and there were also tries for Joe Mellor, Chris Tuson, Paul Prescott, Logan Tomkins and another debutant, Dom Crosby.

Owain Brown got Crusaders' consolation try with the last score of the game.

Wigan handed competitive first-team debuts to King and Crosby, while young hooker Tomkins, younger brother of Joel and Sam, claimed his first try for the club.
