Isaac John: Wakefield Trinity Wildcats release half-back

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have released half-back Isaac John.

John, 24, joined the Wildcats from NRL side New Zealand Warriors in October 2011 and made 15 appearances last season, but did not play after the defeat by Warrington in May.

Agar told the club website: "He has got a club in the NRL that he's going to go and join one of their full-time squads.

"We've had an understanding that if an opportunity came up for him we wouldn't stop him from taking it."
