"I've virtually missed half of the season, so theoretically I'll be extremely fresh for the second half."

He had surgery to repair the injury and returned to action for Championship side Swinton Lions on Sunday, having missed out on a place in Tony Smith's 17-man squad for the Super League defeat by Hull FC two days earlier.

Morley, capped 30 times by Great Britain and a further 23 by England, is expected to feature at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend as the Wolves aim to bridge a six-point gap to leaders Wigan Warriors at the top of the table.

"We're playing our big rivals and, in terms of opposition, I think this is the toughest test we've had in the Magic Weekend. It's going to be a tough one, but hopefully an exciting one."
