Leeds Rhinos teenagers Liam Sutcliffe and Thomas Minns have agreed long-term contract extensions.

Sutcliffe, 18, has scored five tries in seven Super League appearances this season and has agreed a four-year deal.

Minns, also 18, has signed a three-year contract with the Headingley side after making his debut last month.

"Liam is a proof that if you work hard and apply yourself then anything is possible," coach Brian McDermott told BBC Radio Leeds.

"It'll be interesting when the injured guys come back because he has excelled and he's enjoying it.

"Thomas is as equally good a player and he has handled his time in the first team very well. We rate him highly."
