Hull KR winger David Hodgson has agreed a one-year extension with the Super League side.

The 31-year-old signed for the Robins on a two-year deal with the option of a third when he joined from Huddersfield ahead of the 2012 season.

He has scored 27 tries in 38 Super League appearances for Craig Sandercock's side.

"We've got a good team down here and we just need to build on that," Hodgson told the club website., external

"This is a great club to play for, they're my hometown team and staying here next season was always what I wanted to do.

"As long as you've got young players coming through, which we have, then the team is only going to get better."
