Widnes Vikings forward Hep Cahill will be banned for the final two games of the Super League season after being sent off at Warrington on Thursday.
The back-rower was dismissed for a late and high tackle on Wolves full-back Brett Hodgson and was subsequently charged by the Rugby Football League.
Cahill, 26, submitted an early guilty plea to his Grade C charge.
Despite playing for more than half of the game with 12 men, the Vikings won 16-6 against their local rivals.
Denis Betts' side, who lie 11th in Super League, host Hull KR on Sunday before rounding off their season at Salford City Reds on 6 September.
