Ade Gardner: St Helens winger joins Hull KR on loan

St Helens winger Ade Gardner has joined Hull KR on loan for a month.

Gardner, 30, has made 286 appearances for the Saints, but has found first team opportunities limited this season.

"At this stage of his career it's clear Ade needs to be playing week in week out and going out on loan to Hull KR will enable him to do that," said Saints chief executive Mike Rush.

"Ade has worked hard in training, has proved to be an utmost professional and needs to be playing regularly."

Meanwhile, the Robins have confirmed Craig Hall did not rupture a testicle at St Helens on Friday, but he could still be facing a few weeks on the sidelines.
