Josh Griffin: Salford Red Devils became 'a laughing stock'

Salford are no longer a "laughing stock" in Super League, says Red Devils centre Josh Griffin.
Incidents over the past year included claims over not paying players, dismissing head coach Iestyn Harris, stadium problems and a council dispute.
World Cup winning coach Tim Sheens has come in as director of rugby and made 10 signings ahead of the new season.
"The last two years have been like a rollercoaster," Griffin, 25, told BBC Radio Manchester.
"From my experience you've got to not listen to outside the rugby - with Tim coming in he's really drilled that into us, he's that barrier."
Salford finished 11th in Super League in 2015, but retained their top-flight status by finishing third in the Qualifiers.
"We've become a bit of laughing stock, I suppose you could call it, and people were calling us that," Griffin added.
"I think the club is in a much better place now. It was hard to deal with you never know what's going to happen, but since Tim's come in he's really taken control of it."
