Greg Bird has had two spells with Catalans Dragons

Greg Bird will miss Catalans' final three Qualifiers matches after being banned for a dangerous throw.

The 32-year-old forward pleaded guilty after an incident involving Ben Heaton in Catalans' win at Halifax on Sunday.

A four-game ban was reduced on appeal, meaning he could feature if Catalans are involved in the Million Pound Game.

Meanwhile, assistant coach Jerome Guisset will leave the Dragons at the end of the season after 12 years with the club as a player and coach.
