England winger Jermaine McGillvary scored two of his side's six tries as Huddersfield came from 16-8 down at half-time to beat Hull KR.
Taioalo Vaivai, Joel Tomkins, Craig Hall all scored first-half tries for Rovers but then came a turnaround.
Kruise Leeming and the Wardle brothers, Joe and Jake, both crossed to add to Huddersfield's two first-half tries from McGillvary and Innes Senior.
Danny Addy got one back late on but too late to prevent a fifth straight loss.
That leaves Rovers still uneasily placed in the table, just two points above bottom club London Broncos, who are at home to Wakefield on Saturday.
Defeat came at the further cost of an injury to veteran half-back Danny McGuire, who tore his quad and will now miss his club's Magic Weekend clash with Salford.
Huddersfield's first win in three matches lifts them level on points with eighth-placed Wigan.
It was certainly an eventful night for the Wardle brothers, starting when second-rower Joe was sin-binned in the first half after twice displaying dissent and the Giants conceded a try in his absence.
However, the former Newcastle Knights and Castleford player made amends by forcing his way over for the try that levelled the scores during his side's second-half fightback.
And, although Hull KR coach Tim Sheens later claimed it should have been disallowed because of a one-on-one strip. younger brother Jake provided the game's highlight, racing 80 metres for an opportunist try that restored his side's lead.
Huddersfield coach Simon Woolford:
"Whether the referee was right or wrong, Joe Wardle has been around a long time and he's got to be better than that.
"We got the message down that he owed us one. And his contribution when he came back on was typical. He scored a crucial try.
"Jake's a player I've a lot of time for. He's a fantastic talent. For his try, he knew he didn't have the speed but he outsmarted them.
"The sky is the limit for him. He could be a 30 to 40-cap man for Great Britain if we get his body right."
Hull KR coach Tim Sheens:
"It was a crucial ruling on the Jake Wardle try. We feel the ball was stripped and it should have been a scrum. But it's the classic thing you are taught from a young age, play to the whistle.
"There's a lot of footy to be played just yet. We've had a number of narrow losses this year, which is putting us under a bit of pressure.
"We did enough good stuff in the first half and Mitch Garbutt was a whisker away from scoring another try.
"They had a heap of possession in the second half and young Kruise Leeming came on and ran us ragged from the play-the-ball."
