Last year's beaten finalists Salford Red Devils convincingly overcame Championship side Widnes 68-4 to reach the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Debut tries from Morgan Escare and a double for Matt Costello were added to by Tui Lolohea's score as Salford built a big first half advantage.
Widnes' Daniel Hill crossed before the break on his debut for the visitors.
But Richard Marshall's hosts took full control after half-time, scoring seven tries without reply.
Dec Patton, Andy Ackers, Seb Ikahihifo, Kallum Watkins, Jack Ormondroyd, Rhys Williams and Chris Atkin all went in for the Red Devils.
This win was Salford's first of the season, after two Super League defeats, against a Widnes side that were unbeaten in 2021 going into the game.
