Wigan Warriors sealed consecutive wins over Huddersfield Giants in a tense Super League game at the John Smith's Stadium.
Mitch Clark did well to get over the line amid pressure from the Giants as Wigan edged ahead in the first half.
Will Pryce got the hosts off the mark with 60 minutes gone as they hit back after Harry Smith's penalty.
Liam Farrell put Wigan further ahead and they held on to win after Nathan Peteru set up a tense finale.
The result means fifth-placed Wigan have won back-to-back games for the first time since May, while Huddersfield slip to their 11th Super League defeat of the season.
Wigan came into the game having ended their five-game losing run with victory in the return fixture last Sunday.
They were missing the talismanic Jackson Hastings due to suspension, but Wigan boss Adrian Lam welcomed back Ethan Havard from a ban, while Sam Halsall came in having been recalled from Newcastle.
Huddersfield were forced to bolster their ranks from their academy as they fielded a young side, with Pryce and Robson Stevens coming in.
Pryce, son of former Great Britain international Leon, made an impact in the second half as he scored his first try for the club.
However, the hosts left their comeback too late and, despite a spirited second half performance, Farrell's try proved decisive.
