Winger Ken Sio has signed a one-year deal to stay at Salford Red Devils in 2024, with the option to extend for a further year.

Sio, 32, has been with Salford for five seasons since joining from NRL side Newcastle Knights.

He has scored 78 tries in 104 games and was named in the Super League Dream Team in 2021 and 2022.

The Australian scored 12 tries this season as Salford finished seventh, two points outside the play-off positions.

"During my time at Salford, Ken Sio has been a consistent high performer on the field and the ultimate professional off it," said Salford head coach Paul Rowley.

"As a man, he epitomises what we want our group to be about - hard-working, honest, brave and selfless," he told the club's website., external
