George Lawler: Castleford Tigers back-rower extends contract

George Lawler made 19 Super League appearances for Castleford in 2023 as they finished four points above relegated Wakefield

Castleford back-rower George Lawler has signed a two-year contract extension.

The 28-year-old, who joined from Hull KR in October 2021, made 19 appearances for the Tigers in 2023.

"I'm really looking forward to this year after a year that didn't go the best and was embarrassing at times," he told the club website.

"We need to get back where Cas fans can be proud of us each week and we will be putting the work in and giving them something to shout about."
