Hull KR have signed hooker Reiss Butterworth from Dewsbury Rams for the 2024 Super League season with the option to extend the deal another year.
The 24-year-old helped the Rams secure promotion to the Championship and was named League One player of the year last season.
"I'm excited to be part of the club next season," he told the club website, external.
"Hull KR have really progressed this year and you can see that they're a tight-knit bunch of lads."
He added: "I want to be part of that and push for an opportunity in the team."
Butterworth captained the Rams and featured in 21 games in 2023, also helping the West Yorkshire side reach the Challenge Cup fifth round.
He came through the Bradford Bulls Academy before joining Huddersfield Giants in 2019 where he made his debut a year later after loan spells with Batley Bulldogs and York Knights RLFC.
'I've had a taste of Super League during my time with Huddersfield, so I'm really looking forward to this opportunity," he added.
"Fans can expect someone who always has a dig, works hard for his team-mates and gives 100% week in, week out."
Hull KR head coach Willie Peters believes they are bringing in a highly motivated young player.
"Reiss wants to play in Super League, keep improving and prove himself at the top level," he said.
'When you've got that, combined with someone that works hard, which Reiss does, that will give him every chance of playing in Super League.
"We're looking forward to helping him develop next year."
