Danny Ward: Hull KR appoint former London Broncos head coach as assistant

Danny Ward had a spell with Hull KR during his playing career

Hull KR have appointed former London Broncos coach Danny Ward as assistant on a two-year deal.

Ward ended last season in charge of Castleford Tigers and helped steer them to Super League survival.

He joins the Robins coaching staff after Danny McGuire left to join Cas under new head coach Craig Lingard.

"It's great to be back. It's a club that's doing fantastic things on and off the field," 43-year-old Ward told the club website.
