Daniel Hindmarsh-Takyi: Castleford Tigers sign ex-London Broncos prop

Daniel Hindmarsh-Takyi went to Australia to boost his rugby league experience in the Queensland Cup

Castleford Tigers have signed prop Daniel Hindmarsh-Takyi from Australian Queensland Cup side Northern Pride for the 2024 Super League season.

The 25-year-old played 21 games for the Pride in 2023, scoring two tries.

Hindmarsh-Takyi had been with London Broncos and had loan stays with Oxford, Skolars, Sheffield and Coventry, scoring five tries in 68 matches.

"He's someone that we went really hard to bring in," director of rugby operations Danny Wilson said.

"He fits that mould of the type of player we want to bring in to Castleford; young, enthusiastic and wants to achieve."
