Hull KR have signed playmaker Ben Reynolds from Championship club Featherstone Rovers as cover for halves Mikey Lewis and Tyrone May.

The 30-year-old was a regular at Leigh in 2023, winning the Challenge Cup as part of Adrian Lam's side but left the club at the end of the season.

Reynolds has two tries and 12 goals in three matches for Rovers this season.

"I'm really looking forward to linking up with the boys. I'm really grateful for the opportunity," Reynolds said.

"The club has gone above and beyond to get me here - hopefully I can repay them on the field."

He showed his value to Leigh in their successful season back in Super League not only as Lachlan Lam's half-back partner, but also as an organiser and one of the most prolific goal-kickers in the division.

Pontefract-born Reynolds started his career at Castleford, with York, Wakefield, Dewsbury and Doncaster among his other clubs.

He joins the Robins on a two-year deal.

"We're really happy to finalise a deal with Ben. Ben's played in some big games, like the Challenge Cup final last year and most of the season for Leigh - he'll have gained a lot of experience from that," head coach Willie Peters said.

"He's a smart half-back with a good kicking game, but what I like most about him is he's a competitor and he'll work hard for his team-mates."
