Gil Dudson: Salford Red Devils re-sign Warrington Wolves prop on loan for season

Salford Red Devils have re-signed Wales prop Gil Dudson on loan from Warrington Wolves on a deal until the end of the 2024 Super League season.
The 33-year-old front-rower was brought to the Wire by Daryl Powell in 2023, making 16 appearances, but he had featured just once so far this term.
Dudson's presence is welcome for the Red Devils, with Brad Singleton and Adam Sidlow both currently sidelined.
He previously helped Salford reach a Grand Final and Challenge Cup final.
"I'm very happy to welcome Gil back to the club," head coach Paul Rowley said., external "He's a very intelligent footballer and gives us much needed reinforcements to our middle unit.
"Having worked closely with Gil before I have trust in his ability and more importantly, I know he is the type of character that will fit into, and compliment our environment, which is one we are extremely protective, and proud of."
Trowbridge-born Dudson joined Wigan after coming through at Welsh club Crusaders, and also played for Widnes, Halifax, Catalans Dragons, South Wales Scorpions and Workington Town, scoring 22 tries in 300 appearances.
