Leigh Leopards recorded their first win of the Super League season in convincing fashion with a nine-try thumping of struggling Hull FC.
The visitors scored five first-half tries, as Umyla Hanley, Josh Charnley, Ricky Leutele, Rob Mulhern and ex-Hull half-back Ben McNamara crossed.
Tex Hoy scored for Hull before the break, but that was as good as it got.
Leutele added a second after Oli Holmes' double and Matt Moylan went over to add to his nine goals.
Leigh's third successive winning trip to the MKM Stadium lifts them up to ninth, leapfrogging Hull who slip to 10th place.
This was a remarkable return to form for Leigh, who had come close to breaking their duck in previous matches against Leeds and even St Helens during their opening four games.
By contrast, Hull's slide since 2024 kicked off has been a miserable one, with only a narrow victory against winless London Broncos to show for their efforts, and this was a miserable way for club captain Danny Houghton to mark his 400th Super League appearance.
Here, they were carved open by the Leopards, who were without chief schemer Lachlan Lam, and McNamara took advantage of his opportunity to impress.
Tony Smith's attempts to rebuild the home side continue to flounder in 2024, with discipline again an issue, and only Castleford and London have registered fewer points in Super League this season while 162 conceded is the joint-most so far.
Hull FC head coach Tony Smith:
"A tough day at the office. It was a poor performance from our team.
"We've done it the hard way to go about winning matches and it has caught up with us today.
"We looked flat early, and we just didn't respond in the right way. Just some things there that showed a bit of fatigue or we've lost a bit of spirit because of that early try. We got done badly around our ruck area. It was a real flat and jaded sort of performance."
Leigh head coach Adrian Lam:
"Obviously I'm very pleased with the outcome, 50 points for us and more importantly four points against.
"We had a few players out today as well. It was a dangerous moment for us before the game.
"We needed that from our key players, it's always tough to come here and win, especially off the back of none out of three.
"We needed a response from last week's performance. We needed a good performance."
