Fa'amanu Brown and Tex Hoy: Duo released by Hull FC with immediate effect
- Published
Hull FC have released half-back Fa'amanu Brown and full-back Tex Hoy, a day after head coach Tony Smith left.
Both players were out of contract at the end of the season.
Hoy, 24, joined on a two-year deal before the 2023 campaign and made 21 appearances in Super League.
New Zealand and Samoa international Brown, 29, signed a one-year deal in October and had been ever-present this season but requested to be released on compassionate grounds.
The Black and Whites have won just one of their seven Super League games in 2024.
