Hull FC have signed Newcastle Knights half-back Will Pryce on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 22-year-old - the son of Leon Pryce, who was part of the Black and Whites team that won the first of two back-to-back Challenge Cups in 2016 - was allowed to leave by the National Rugby League side on compassionate grounds.
He started his career with Huddersfield Giants before moving to Australia for the 2024 season.
"This is a significant signing for the club and one that we are absolutely delighted to get over the line," Hull FC's chief executive Richie Myler told the club website., external
"Will is an incredibly talented player and I think he is the perfect fit for our team. His ambition matches our ambition to grow as a club, and ultimately be successful again."
The Black and Whites, who face city rivals Hull KR in the Challenge Cup quarter-final on Saturday, have made a fine start to the Super League season with four wins from their opening six games.
