Hull FC have confirmed the signing of King Vuniyayawa on loan from Salford Red Devils for the rest of the 2024 season.

The 29-year-old Fiji international began his career at NRL side New Zealand Warriors and has played more than 60 games for Super League clubs Leeds Rhinos and Salford.

Prop forward Vuniyayawa said he was ready for a "massive opportunity" at Hull.

“I’m really grateful to Hull FC for giving me the opportunity to come in for the rest of the season," he said.

“For me, I feel it is a massive opportunity to prove to the club the physicality, energy and work ethic I can bring to the team.

“Now I’m just looking forward to meeting all of the boys and getting stuck in.”

Hull will hope Vuniyayawa's arrival can help them pull away from the bottom of the Super League as they currently sit 11th with two wins from 17 matches.
