Morgan Smith heads a list of three players who have been released by Hull FC with immediate effect.

The half-back, 26, is now free along with full-back Jack Walker and winger Liam Tindall to pursue their careers elsewhere.

Smith played 26 games last season, while Walker, 25, made 20 appearances and Tindall, 23, played three times.

Hull FC finished the 2024 Super League season in 11th place, only above bottom club London Broncos on points difference.

Smith and Walker both signed two-year deals with the club when they joined 12 months ago from Wakefield Trinity and city rivals Hull KR respectively.

Tindall had also agreed a two-year contract to join from Leeds Rhinos.

But now new head coach, Australian John Cartwright, has agreed to their departures a year early.
