Cornwall lost 33-26 to Hunslet as they narrowly missed out on their fourth win of the season in League One.

Callum Abbott's try cancelled out an early Jack Render score before the Leeds side crossed twice more to lead 14-4 after 30 minutes.

Two tries from Aaron Small either side of half time saw Cornwall lead 16-14 before Cam Berry and George Flanagan's tries put Hunslet 26-16 up.

But a try from Nathan Cullen and a second for Abbott saw Cornwall draw level with eight minutes left.

But a drop goal from Matty Beharrell and a last-minute Michael Knowles try secured the win for Hunslet.

Cornwall remain second-from-bottom of League One, while Hunslet move up to third place.
