Leeds Rhinos have signed North Queensland Cowboys forward Jeremiah Mata'utia on a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old New Zealander did not make a competitive appearance for the NRL side but spent time with Queensland Cup side Mackay Cutters in 2024 and 2025.

"I have had a warm welcome to England and I can't wait to rip in and to bring the best of my ability for the club," he told the club website.

"I want to bring aggression and impact whether I am starting or on the bench and do what the team needs from me."
