Hull FC front rower Herman Ese'ese faces a possible six-game ban after being charged with "verbal abuse" in their Super League defeat by London Broncos earlier in May.

The 29-year-old is accused of, external "verbal abuse based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national or ethnic origin or any other form of unacceptable language and/or behaviour".

It is unclear which player Ese'ese has been accused of abusing, but the Grade F charge has now been referred to a tribunal which will meet on Tuesday, 28 May.

Because of the timing of the charge, Ese'ese will still be eligible to face Castleford Tigers on Friday.
