Hull KR scrum-half Tyrone May has extended his contract until the end of 2027.

The 28-year-old Australian is in his second season with the Robins after joining from Catalans Dragons.

He was part of the team that ended their 45-year wait for Challenge Cup success with victory over Warrington at Wembley on Saturday.

"It was important that we let Tyrone make that decision around whether he wanted to go back and play the NRL or play here with us in Super League," head coach Willie Peters told the club website., external

"He's made the choice to stay here for all the right reasons. He knows that we value him and he values us as a club.

"He's a really important member of our team and we're happy that he's chosen us for another two years."
